Creative Director Design & Audio - Oakland, CA

Pandora is seeking a skilled Group Creative Director to join the Brand & Content Creative team at Pandora. This role will manage team leaders across creative studio and strategy functions, which includes teams within design, audio, video, photography, motion GFX, copywriting, and strategy content creation disciplines. In this unique cross-functional role, you will partner closely with Integrated Marketing, Artist Marketing, Product Management, Sales Development, and more key company leaders on all brand- and content-creative initiatives.You will direct full-scale, integrated marketing campaigns from concept to completion, helping to further define creative best practices and inspire the best possible experience for Pandora’s listeners, artists, and advertising partners. From 6-second direct-response videos, to innovative new listening experiences, to national OOH brand campaigns, this role combines expertise in integrated marketing campaigns with music/entertainment content experiences and consumer products, championing the Pandora brand while also often partnering with a diverse portfolio of client sponsors across CPG, Automotive, Spirits, Technology, and additional verticals. In short, this leader will play a pivotal role in the evolution of Pandora’s business, brand, and creative legacy.You are a driven and inspirational leader who will charismatically define and illuminate the Pandora story.   • Lead Pandora Brand-Content Creative work, partnering closely with the Senior Director of Creative Operations to effectively drive quality and scale across all creative business

    • Lead, support, and inspire teams to help define, concept, and develop compelling, impactful, world-class creative

    • Translate and define the client brief; collaborate to evolve and innovate Pandora’s creative strategy and execution

    • Lead creative response to RFPs for branded campaign and partnership opportunities with Sales Development and other key company leaders

    • Deliver insightful brand campaign and content based on qualitative and quantitative consumer insights

    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop communication and creative workflow process that is in line with deadline, budgeting and other identified expectations

    • Strategically and charismatically represent the team’s work to internal and external partners, selling in ideas to grow the dynamic power of Pandora’s brand and product in market

  • Lead the 25+ Brand-Content Creative team, directly managing key leaders across disciplines within Studio & Strategy to inspire the next generation of thoughtful, collaborative, and innovative creative leaders

    • Manage and guide the growth of creative leaders and individuals in multiple creative disciplines

    • Provide thoughtful leadership, creative feedback, and coaching to inspire innovative ideas and career growth

  • Partner closely across Marketing, Sales, Product, and additional key teams to grow and champion the Pandora brand

    • Facilitate creative decisions across cross-functional leaders and teams, building alignment and effectively influencing multiple stakeholders

    • Build strong working relationships with partners to drive and model effective communication, insights-led decision-making, and one-team-one-dream results

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of creative advertising- and marketing-campaign leadership overseeing large cross-functional work and teams

  • Experience leading and inspiring award-winning creative teams executing multi-channel campaigns (digital, OOH, TV, radio, social) and content creation with notable consumer brands

  • World-class oral and written communication skills; dynamic storyteller with executive-level presentation experience internally and client-facing

  • Excellent collaborator with a passion for partnership and teamwork, diverse learning and communication styles, and driving swift and effective decisions

  • Desire to succeed in a demanding, innovative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment

  • Strategically and creatively resourceful
