SFJAZZ Summer Internship Program
The San Francisco Jazz Organization (SFJAZZ) summer intern program offers a direct experience working in the West Coast’s preeminent stand-alone Jazz Center in the US. If you are a college student interested in learning more about how a performing arts non-profit organization works or are considering a job in the future at SFJAZZ. SFJAZZ’s internship program seeks talented students of all backgrounds—we value diversity of cultures, races and ethnicities, gender expressions, and abilities. Students from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in the arts are encouraged to apply.
Digital Marketing Specialist
Do you love jazz music? Do you also find yourself interested in the latest social media and online trends? The SFJAZZ Marketing Department is hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist to manage, develop, and implement creative new strategies to grow the organization’s online presence through our social media channels (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram). This is a great opportunity for someone who’s passionate about music, and also interested in creating engaging online content for a forward-thinking jazz organization. This position also helps assist the Web Producer in maintaining the SFJAZZ Website, capturing and preparing live and behind-the-scenes photos, and developing interesting content for the SFJAZZ Blog ‘On The Corner’. We are looking for creative and self-motivated individuals that will help SFJAZZ continue to be a leader in digital content.
Leaders Circle Manager
As a member of SFJAZZ's Development staff, the Leaders Circle Manager plays a critical role in increasing individual donor support and managing the day-to-day operations of the Leaders Circle program. The Leaders Circle, SFJAZZ’s premier donor group, comprises 600 Members. He/she is responsible for overseeing the solicitation of annual Leaders Circle gifts between $1,500 and $3,000, annual gifts earmarked to SFJAZZ Education, and gala packages. The Leaders Circle Manager reports to the Individual Giving Director and provides direct support for all individual giving initiatives.
