LIGHTING DESIGNERS
Circus Center seeks Lighting Designers to help create a fully designed and produced, full-length production:
San Francisco Youth Circus (pre-professional circus troupe) end-of-year show, running May 3-11.
The same person could fill both positions, if desired.

SF Youth Circus Show:
Saturday, April 6, 4-8p (rehearsal)
Saturday, April 13, 4-8p (rehearsal)
Friday, April 26, noon-8p (load-in and tech)
Saturday, April 27, 2-10p (tech)
Sunday, April 28, 2-8p (dress)
Friday, May 3, 7:30 opening show
The lighting designer will work closely with the Director, Technical Director and other artistic staff to create the world of the show. You will be working with a small house plot that will need to be added to and can be changed for the design of the show.
Duties:
Create a lighting design in conversation with the Director to create the world of the show
Turn in a lighting plot, additional instrument rental list and schedule
Rig, focus and cue lights prior to Technical rehearsal
Attend all production meetings and technical rehearsals
Attend at least two rehearsals before completion date of lighting plot
Qualifications:
Experience designing lights for live performance
Knowledge of electrics, lighting instruments and light boards
Experience working with youth
Experience working in a creative team
Experience with circus performance preferred
