Summary**:
The Graphic Design Intern, acting under the direction of the Creative Services Manager, will learn about and help design and produce graphics for print and online advertising, social media and web, marketing collateral, promotional materials, and logos for Sharks Sports & Entertainment (SSE) properties, which includes the San Jose Sharks, San Jose Barracuda, SAP Center, and Sharks Ice Family of Rinks.
**This is an unpaid internship for academic credit.**
Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Learn from and work with the following departments/groups:
Marketing, Sales, and Corporate Partnerships to design print and online advertising, printed collateral, promotional materials, and logos
Digital Media to create graphics for web and social media
Building and Guest Services on Guides and Signage
Ability and desire to take ownership and lead design and creative projects as necessary
Learn how to prioritize and track projects through creative process
Qualifications**:
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Graphic Design
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is required, After Effects and Premiere a plus
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Power Point is required
