California Music Channel has been broadcasting the hottest music videos over the air in the Bay Area since 1982. Over the past 37 years, we’ve grown from an hour-long program to two 24/7 stations with digital simulcast capabilities. About the position:

As a Promotions Intern, you are the engine that keeps the station running. You’re keen attention to detail and charismatic energy elevates every show and on-site event you are a part of. 

Duties:

• Handling viewer contest and request lines

• Awarding, tracking and distributing prizes to winners

• Facilitating CMC on-site promotional events

• Creating content for CMC’s social media accounts

• Operating the CMC Video Cruiser

• Providing professional and enthusiastic customer service

• Assisting with Music Video Inventory

Skills Desired:

• Ability to operate multi-line phone

• Basic clerical and computer skills

• Ability to communicate well with others

• Must be organized and efficient

• Must have valid Driver’s License

Flexible scheduling. Must be able to work weekends. 

This is a non-paid, part-time internship (travel expense compensation only). Academic credit is earned if applicable.
