Casting call!

Seeking native Italian speakers for a short film. The script is in both English and Italian and we’re seeking actors who are natives of Italy and the Italian speaking parts of Switzerland, due to the need for no foreign accents in Italian, but the typical Italian accent in English is in fact what’s being sought.

Please send three photos plus a present day selfie. If you have a reel, please send it via an external website, such as a youtube link, and make sure it‘s not private. In addition and likewise on an external link, please slate with distance in order to show your full body, and then approach closer to camera and recite the poem “La Trombettina” by Corrado Govoni. If you have an Instagram or L.A. Casting profile, you’re welcome to submit those as well for additional reference and photos.

Preliminary shoot dates – October 12th and 13th

Location – Valley Village / North Hollywood

Rate – $500 total for both days (paid at wrap), including home cooked meals

1. Stefano – 35-45 years of age. A cunning individual who’s lived his life as a charlatan and has now found himself in serious trouble.

2. Giorgio – 45-55 years of age. Detective, who since childhood has wanted to do right for society, but the powers that be often prevent this.

3. Raffaela – 30-40 years of age. Stefano’s wife. She’s been conditioned to believe that silence is best, especially when it comes to matters of her husband’s affairs, but she’s now at her wits end.
