Unpaid Internship Available - Must be local to Los Angeles, own laptop and vehicle with valid drivers license. Must be punctual and professional, able to operate under high stress, understand studio etiquette, and be extremely organized. Intern will learn session rules, workflow, client management, and recording techniques. Basic knowledge of outboard gear highly preferred. Our studio is heavy on analog equipment and very DIY friendly. Intern will learn how to disassemble, assemble, clean, and troubleshoot equipment. Necessary Skills -Soldering - Advanced skill with Pro Tools -Knowledge of gear (compressors, eq's, preamps, etc). - Understanding basic recording techniques - Familiarity with internal workings of recording equipment Bonus skills: ability to play instruments, graphic design experience, photography/videography experience proficiency in Adobe Software Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, construction.
