This is a 10 hours a week or less gig, fully remote. Pacific coast time is best but otherwise, please be aware of time zones and scheduling meetings.

Requirements to Apply:

Portfolio of work / work samples

Experience with social media

Understands electronic genres of music

Self-starter (works quickly without much instruction)

Responsibilities:

• Identifying podcasts, curators, livestreams and that are open to new musicians

• Social media networking (identifying live streams and social organizations online)

• Writing (outreach messages and posts)

• Appropriate writing for music promotion and audience

• * Using Wix and graphic design skills are a plus

I like to be straight-forward because I know the job hunt is tough, so here are some of the reasons that I may not reply to the application:

• There are spelling mistakes

• There's no demonstration that you know electronic music genres and audiences

• There's no example of relevant experience

• If you don't seem like a music fan

• If you don't seem energetic and upbeat

• You're a musician but not a marketing person

• You're too pushy / "passionate" (sorry but you wouldn't believe some people)

This would be a side-gig for sure, as only a few projects would be available. A rate of 20.00/ hour is offered OR a project fee, whichever sound more reasonable per task.
