After 12 months in development GigsList.info reboot is ready to step up a level and go national. GigsList.info is an arts, music, media, and entertainment industry B2B resource and magazine and opportunities research journal. 

About the Internships 

Seeking interns to build this into a paid gig. Each department is allotted a percentage of the income, so when the sales department has success everybody gets paid. Seeking interns to build the following departments. 2 Interns each department section. Unpaid to start. Future Pay.  Note: We cannot provide help with immigration, sorry.

Marketing 

  • Audience Development - market research, analytics, SEO research, and marketing strategies development.

  • Content Creation - Research, journalism, interviews, video docs for free to view and pay to view platforms. And we love fast to load animated gifs as you’ve noticed. Plus graphic design and add copy. We have an in-house video editor and shooter to help you.

  • Social Media Distribution - Sharing content to GigsList owned network of social media pages and groups, we have a bunch. Plus heaps more that we are members of for you to share to. If you want to be an influencer we have your network and audience already set up.

  • Events - We’ve produced several meet ups with live surf punk music and DJ’s this year. We are expanding into popup trade shows for creatives, such as costumers and indie fashion designers. You will have GigsList’s team of highly experienced festival and event managers to help you.

Sales

  • Subscription Sales and Customer Service - Your targets are students and beginners looking for their first internships and first paid gigs to learn the ropes, build their resumes, and make connections. If you like being a social media influence of arts industry beginners and students a whole network of pages and groups are waiting for you.

  • Advertising Services Sales and Customer Service - Various kinds of advertising real estate, online directories, and marketing design and distribution services for up and coming and established companies. To get their word out to indie and mainstream producers and decision makers.

Administration

  • Business Management - The internal nuts and bolts that hold all the departments together. Administration, legal, accounting, analytics, assistants, partner research, business strategies. Start up office with views in Haight Ashbury.

  • Product Backend Development - Web Site and Tech - The web site is on Squarespace, so customizing styles and boosting auto posting on more social media is very useful. Plus app development for useful resources for our viewers. We have lots of ideas and our own marketing platform with a broad niche audience.

What You Need

  • Some hands on experience or learning, volunteer is OK. Any education level OK.

  • Experience in the business end of arts, music, and entertainment is a bonus.

  • Reliable computer and smart phone.
